What We Do
Everything below is performed by licensed elevator personnel. In Oregon, only licensed elevator personnel may perform regulated conveyance work, that isn’t a marketing claim, it’s the rule.
Category 1 & 5 Safety Testing
The periodic safety tests required by code and verified by your state inspector. Category 1 runs annually. Category 5 runs every five years and, on traction equipment, is a full-load, full-speed test of the car safeties, governor and brake. Category 3 intermediate testing applies to some configurations.

Elevator recall lives in two trades at once. Your fire alarm contractor owns the detectors; your elevator contractor owns the elevator. We provide the licensed standby that verifies Phase I recall, Phase II firefighters’ operation and shunt trip interface, then returns the car to service.

We diagnose the actual fault rather than replacing parts until the symptom disappears. Door operators and detector edges, controller and relay faults, leveling and drift, hydraulic leaks and packing, ropes and suspension means, fixtures, and emergency communication devices.

Scheduled maintenance built around your equipment’s age, duty cycle, manufacturer and history, not a generic monthly visit. Every plan includes the Maintenance Control Program documentation the code requires you to keep on site.

Partial and full modernizations, controllers, drives, door operators, fixtures, communication and emergency systems, cab interiors, with the permitting, plan review and acceptance inspection managed end to end.
Elevator modernizationPit and Hoistway Access
Inspections, surveys, insurance assessments and repairs frequently require access to the pit, hoistway or machine space. Those are regulated environments restricted to qualified elevator personnel. We provide that access safely, with the equipment secured and the work documented.

Cab interiors, hoistways, pits and machine room equipment, most often after construction, tenant improvement or remodeling work, when construction dust has had weeks to settle into door tracks and controller cabinets. Cleaning is excluded from most maintenance agreements.
